Live Outreach in Toledo - Juneteenth Community Unity Celebration

Rank the Vote Ohio is teaming up with the Forward Party to register voters and educate the public about ranked choice voting at the Junction Coalition Juneteenth Community Unity Celebration! We will have a table set up for voter registration and we'll also have the opportunity to walk around and meet people where they are.

We'll meet at our assigned table for a brief training on RCV and voter registration before getting to work. After we introduce each other and practice our pitches, we'll split into small teams to grow the movement for better elections in Ohio. While some volunteers will stay at the table, others will walk around the event to talk to people.

Please note that we have an obligation to this event from 1 pm until 6 pm. However, volunteers may connect with Josie if they'd prefer a shorter shift.

You can bring your own pen/clipboard and practice beforehand with our quick-start canvassing kit or a pitch training on zoom, OR we will provide you with supplies and show you how to give a quick pitch for Instant Runoffs on the spot!
